Mental Health Resource Centre provides a social, recreational program and a drop in component for adults who are in the rehabilitation and maintenance phase of their recovery.
Seniors Socialization Program offers the client who experiences later in life issue an opportunity to participate in activities outside of their residential setting. Caregivers of these clients have an opportunity for brief periods of respite. The clients are provided with assistance in meeting their medical and personal needs. Services are delivered by Thunder Creek Rehabilitation Association.
Access
Programs are introduced to clients by their case managers (Community Mental Health Nurses). Clients determine their participation in social and recreational activities. Types and frequency of programs offered are determined in cooperation with the client group.
Participation in Senior’s socialization program is limited to available spaces.
