Social/Recreational Programming

Connects provides opportunities for clients involved with the Recovery Program to participate in Social and Recreational programming at the Mental Health Resource Center. This programming is available to clients who are in the early recovery and maintenance phase of their recovery.

The Outreach Program offers clients an opportunity to participate in activities outside of their residential setting. Services are delivered by Thunder Creek Rehabilitation Association.

Programs are introduced to clients by their case managers (Community Mental health Nurses). Clients determine their participation in social and recreational activities. Types and frequency of programs offered are determined in collaboration with the client group.

Clinical Programming

Connects Clinical Programming provide clinical groups, such as Illness Management Recovery and Drop-in Coping Group. Connects Clinical Programming is also the gateway for non-recovery team clients to become involved with other Connects programming.  Staff assess participant's suitability and interest in participating in the Social/Recreational Programming.
