Helping you become “Heart Healthy for Life” The Patient Education Centre based out of the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital provides the following Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs: | Chronic Disease Management • Cardiac Rehab • Diabetes Education • Depression • LiveWell™ |
Heart to Heart is an education program of the Heart and Stroke Foundation for cardiac patients and their families. This is a six week program with classes once a week to help patients gain knowledge of heart disease and cardiac rehabilitation.
Cardiaction Exercise Program is medically supervised and provides a safe, structured program for patients to improve their exercise tolerance and increase their cardiovascular fitness. It is offered three times a week on an ongoing basis and partners are welcome to join.
Support Programs include a Cardiaction Support Group of current and past participants and a Graduate Exercise Program. Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Brochure
