PLUMBING AND ONSITE WASTEWATER DISPOSAL

 

As of January 3rd, 2022, Public Health Inspectors are no longer responsible for permitting and inspecting plumbing systems. Plumbing permitting and inspections are now conducted by The Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan. Please click this Link for more information: TSASK.ca.

 

Public Health Inspectors permit and inspect new onsite wastewater treatment systems and also investigate complaints relating to improper or failed onsite wastewater treatment systems.

There are two regulations that govern private sewage disposal. They are The Private Sewage Works Regulations and the Shoreland Pollution Control Regulations.
