Well Wishes

Well Wishes is designed to provide family and friends convenient access to patients throughout our region's facilities by using email to send messages.

• Email is checked every weekday and hand delivered to patients by 4:00pm. Any email received after 2:00pm or on weekends and holidays will be delivered the next business day. This may result in a delay in delivery and the possibility of the patient having already been discharged. Email received after the intended recipient has been discharged will not be delivered.

• All messages received are handled confidentially. Upon receipt, your email is printed and delivered to the patient's room. Please note that this system is designed for well wishes only. Any other type of communication or messages (e.g., e-mails conducting personal business, containing questionable content, or business/vendor solicitations) will not be delivered and will be deleted from the system.

If you would like to send well wishes to a loved one or a friend who is a patient in our region, simply click on this link and type your email (or copy and paste wellwishes@fhhr.ca into your email program).

 

Be sure to include:

- patient's first and last name
- facility name & room number (if known)
- message   and
- your full name

 

Please note that this system is set up only to receive email. We cannot send outgoing replies or confirm that a patient is indeed registered.
