Maternity Visiting Program

Maternity Visiting Program provides supportive nursing services to mothers who go home sooner after the birth of their baby.

A Public Health Nurse (PHN) will visit you within 24-48 hours after you are discharged from the hospital. The PHN will check the mother and baby, as well as provide information & counseling about breastfeeding, nutrition, rest, exercise, and baby care.

Maternity Visiting Program Services
is Monday to Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm
